25 minutes from start to finish
chicken breast (or beef sirloin), 1 lb, boneless & skinless
tortillas, 8, flour or corn
onion, 1, medium-sized
green bell pepper, 1, medium-sized
tomato, 4, small
lime juice, ¾ cup
cooking oil, 2 teaspoons
Amazing Taste® Fajita seasoning, 1 packet
1. Peel and thinly slice the onion. Rinse, seed and thinly slice bell peppers and tomatoes as well.
2. Cut the chicken (or beef) into thin strips about ½ inch thick.
3. Heat oil in a large skillet on MEDIUM heat. Add all ingredients including your spice packet – except tomatoes – and sauté for approximately 4 minutes. Then, add tomatoes and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
4. Spoon into warm tortillas and serve the extra filling on the side.
*After rinsing the vegetables make sure to dry them thoroughly or this will cause the water on the vegetables to pop in the hot oil.
