
1965- Ghazi Taki graduated from the University of Florida with a Ph. D in Meat Science/Food Science. He was the third graduate from UF with this degree. He pioneered the original research on muscle protein, tenderness and juiciness.
1965- Dr. Taki’s first job was Director of New Product Development for Seymor Foods, one of the largest egg processors at that time.

1966-While at Seymor Foods, Ghazi was credited with inventing the foot long, frozen, hardboiled egg.

1967- While at Seymor Foods, Ghazi was credited with inventing the hard-cooked diced egg.
1968-Dr. Taki was Director of Research for Frank Tea & Spice Company (the owner of Frank’s Hot Sauce). During his time there he developed and introduced over thirty seasonings and sauces into the retail market.
